Instructions
Download the most recent installation of the PowerPac Version from the following link.

Download PowerPac Version 7.x.x (not the evaluation version)
Password: Provided Separately
Server Install
- Run the PowerPac installation file
- Install to a local path on the server (C:/Program Files/Spearhead Software/PowerPac7)
- Select Server on the Select Components Screen
- Now select the folder path where the License is to be Held (See sharing instructions Below)
- Once installed to server run PowerPac and the first time License window will appear
If the first time window does not appear click on the License Icon (The Lock) - Select the method of licensing used. Please contact support if you are not sure
- PC License: copy & paste your Code to authorise@spearhead.com.au (specifying this is a Network License)
- Online Licence: This is currently being phased out
- MySpearhead: Online cloud licensing.
- To Authorise, copy & paste your Site Code and send to authorise@spearhead.com.au (specifying this is a Network License)

Workstation Install
- Make sure PowerPac is installed and Authorised on the Server before running installation
- Use the same installer as used in the Server Installation
- Run the PowerPac installation file and select the install path to your local machine
- Select Workstation from the Select Components screen
- Select the path where the PowerPac License is held (See sharing instructions below)
- Run PowerPac 7 from the desktop icon or the Windows Menu
- PowerPac will pick up license from the server license folder

Sharing your Licence Folder
- Right click on the licence folder (Set earlier in the Server Installation)
- Open Properties
- Navigate to the Sharing Tab
- Click Share
- Either add PowerPac users to a User Group on your Domain, Add them manually or add the 'Everyone' group
- Permission Level needs to be Read/Write
- Click Share
- Close the Sharing Wizard when windows confirms you have shared the folder
- You will see your Network Path on the sharing tab of the folder Properties (example:\\Server\PowerPac Licence)
- Navigate to the Security tab and click on the group or user you added in Step 5.
- Make sure Full Control is given to that User or Group
- If Full Control is not granted, Click Edit and Select the Full Control Tick Box for the relevant User or Group
