Adding a Licence Registry Key

NOTE: Please do not attempt this if you are not confident editing your PC's Registry. This is recommended for an IT Tech Only

1. Open Registry

2. Move to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Spearhead Software > PowerPac > 7

3. Create a new String Value (Right-Click on 7)

4. Call the String Value Licence Folder (Licence spelled with a C not an S)

5. Set the value of the String Value as the path to the Licence folder

A UNC Path can also be used as the value when pointing PowerPac to a Network Installation.

Once the Key is created in the Registry, you will not need to re-apply it. For large Installs we recommend Exporting the Key and having other users double click to run it, the key will then put itself into the appropriate place in the Registry.

You can also copy and paste the below code into notepad, then save it as PowerPac.reg to create the key file yourself

Online Licences

If you are setting this for online licences please also add a new DWORD entry. Please call it Online and set the value to 2
