Getting started with a QuickCalc

QuickCalc allows you to quickly calculate a Maximum Demand or Cable Calculation

1. Open PowerPac 8
   
    
2. Click on QuickCalc

3.  

   Select your connections type

    

   1. Three Phase (Default)
   2. Single Phase
   3. Two Phase
   4. Single Phase Center Tapped
      
       
4. Enter the Line Voltage, Phase Voltage and Supply Rating
   
    
5. Enter the details of the Cable Run
   
    
6. Enter the Load Details and Select the Unit of Measurement you wish to use 
   
    
7. The Power Factor is set to a default of 1 which is a Unity Power Factor
   
    
8. Enter either a Breaker or a Fuse followed by the relevant specifications
   
    
9. Enter the Conductor details
   
    
10. Use the Calculator Button in the toolbar at the top to re calculate your results.
