3. Add a brief Quote Title.
4. Press the Create button

To add the Estimated Quote Hours, use the provided fields above the Quote Description:
Exceeding actual hours on a job based on this quote will trigger a warning.
You can also set the Quote Status and Lead Source using the appropriate drop-downs. These can be used to group quotes in the Find Quote list.
To add a quote description you can select a saved template from the Select Description drop down or enter your own Quote Description in the text editor.
If you select a template, you can also edit it after it appears in the Quote Description text editor.
Selections can be added from the Quote Settings in the main menu.
To add in/exclusions you can select a saved template from the Select In/Exclusion drop down or enter your own in/exclusion in the text editors.
If you select a template, you can also edit it after it appears in the Inclusion and Exclusion Description text editors.

Adding Multiple Pages to Quote Text
To add a page break in the quote text, use the page break control at the top of the text editor box and a page break marker will appear:
The text below this marker will begin on a new page under the usual Quote company header.
EMAC allows you to add your Terms and Conditions of trading and/or a Quote Acceptance page to your quote PDF. If you wish to add either of these options then simply select the tick boxes shown in the image below.
Each tick box selected will add an additional page to your quote PDF.
You can select from multiple terms and conditions.
Selections can be added from the Quote Settings in the Main menu.
1. Add Item (not a required field).
2. Add a more detailed item Description if necessary.
2. Add Quantity.
4. Add Cost Rate (not a required field but if you choose to add the cost of the item EMAC will be able to calculate the profit margin of the items on your quote).
5. Add the Quoted Price (Exc GST) (also known as the 'Sell Rate')
6. If you have more items to add select Add.
7. When you are happy with your quote items press the Save button.
You can also organise the items into Categories for larger quotes.
1. Select the Add From Inventory button.
2. Navigate the Inventory Folders.
3. Select the Item you would like to add to the quote.
4. Add the Quantity.
5. Select the Save Inventory to Quote button.
Now that you have added inventory and custom items to your quote you are able to sort the items for presentation.
Advanced users who have this feature enabled can set the item's Price Level, which will translate to Job Financials if the quote is approved. See the Managing Price Levels section in Managing Material section of EMAC Jobs.
When creating a quote you are able to decide what item information you want to display on the PDF to your client.
1. Select the tick box at the top left of your quote items.
2. Select an option from the PDF display drop down.
Options available are:
"Hide Line Items" - Will hide all item information from the quote and only show the total price of the quote.
"Show All" - Will show all line items and the sell price of each item.
"Hide Financials" - Only the item name and the quantity will be available on the quote. The sell price of each item will not appear on the quote.
3. Select the Save button.
EMAC suggests experimenting with the selections of your item PDF display.
Select the PDF button and make sure you are happy with the layout of your quote.
If you choose to email your quote you can also add any files or attachments that you have uploaded to the quote before emailing.
