Default Email Templates
- For each email template type there is always a default template.
- Only one default template can be selected for each template type.
- The default template is the template that will appear when sending an email for any type of email.
For example: If you select the Email button to email a purchase order the default purchase template will appear in the email content.
What is a Placeholder?
Placeholders are named markers for the content that you send in an email. Placeholders have square brackets around them. For example: [Supplier Name].
Insert placeholders into the subject and message by selecting from the placeholder list. You can also type them in, but you'll need to enter square brackets around the placeholder name. For example: [Trading Name].
Note: EMAC will insert the placeholder into the template wherever your cursor is.
