Pre-Installation Checklist
- Espro must be installed on a local hard drive in order for the licence system to be installed correctly. Although users can access the software after installation from network locations, the initial server installation must be on a local path on the server
- Espro ships with SQL Server Express. If you have an instance of Microsoft SQL Server that you would like to use for data storage, this can be used in place of the default SQL Server installation.
- Please ensure you select or create an installation location where users will have a minimum of Read / Write sufficient security and share permissions.
- Do you want workstation installations of Espro to auto update as required or do you want to control these updates manually ?
Initial Installation

Download and run the installer

Select Next from the initial Setup window

Enter the desired installation folder or click the Browse button to locate where you would to perform the installation.

Tick that the option to install the Licence Service
- Select if you wish to use the default SQL Express Database installation shipped with Espro
- If so, tick the option to install the Espro 7 Database Engine
- If you already have an instance of SQL Server or SQL Server Express that you wish to use for Espro data, unselect this option.
- Select to install server updates folder
- Select this option if you wish to allow workstations to update themselves automatically as required.
- Leave this option unselected to require all workstation installations of Espro to be updated manually
- Select the name of the Start Menu folder for application shortcuts
- Confirm your selections by selecting Install

Once the installation is completed, run Espro and login with the default user name Admin and password Espro
