Connecting to MYOB
1. From the header select the icon.
2. Click the MYOB Add-On icon.
"Step 1. Create your MYOB connection"
Click on the "Connect to MYOB" button and log into your MYOB account. This will create a permanent secure connection to your MYOB account.
Don’t see the button? The connection has already been established.
"Step 2. Import your MYOB contacts"
Clicking on the button below will import your MYOB customer and supplier contact lists into EMAC clients and suppliers contacts.
Had a problem? You may clear your last Client or Supplier import if you have found that there was a problem by selecting the Clear Accounts button.
"Step 3. Import your MYOB accounts"
Clicking on the button below will import the required MYOB accounts to your EMAC account.
"Step 4. Connect your Revenue accounts"
Connecting your MYOB account to EMAC will allow you to select which MYOB revenue accounts are connected to EMAC.
Note: The MYOB account must be an Income account in order for EMAC to push invoices to MYOB.
Once accounts have been selected click on the 'Install EMAC Accounts' button.
Step 5. Connect your direct cost account
Connecting your MYOB account to EMAC will allow you to select MYOB direct cost account and connect it to EMAC purchases.
Note: The MYOB account must be a Cost of Sales account in order for EMAC to push purchases to MYOB.
Once accounts have been selected click on the 'Install EMAC Direct Cost Accounts' button.
Disconnecting from MYOB
It may sometimes be necessary to rest a connection to MYOB. This may happen after account or other codes setting have been updated in MYOB.
1. From the header select the icon.
2. Click the MYOB Add-On icon.
3. Press the "Disconnect MYOB" button. This will disconnect EMAC from your MYOB file, clearing internal settings in MYOB.
